Quran’s central message has been found to agree with the Bible.
Muhammad’s original message was clearly in Sura 3:3 He (Allah) hath revealed unto thee the Scripture with truth, CONFIRMING that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.
Jesus as the spokesman of God can not lie. He said to his followers: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will NEVER pass away.” (Matthew 24: 35) Jesus promised that his words recorded in the Injeel (the Gospel) would never be lost or changed. Muhammad knew it and he said “He hath revealed unto thee the Scripture with truth, CONFIRMING that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the GOSPEL.”
Bearing in mind that Muhammad had agreed and confirmed that the Torah and the Gospel were truthful and correct. Therefore any words or verses in the Quran that contradict the Torah and the Gospel must be rejected as lies and fabrication or interpolation of verses by the thoughts of man or influence by Satan.
Sura 5 Al-Maida 101 there is a warning that the Muslims should not ask questions which, if they were made known to them … that is , if the answers are given… would trouble them.
In Sura 10 Yunus 94 we read that God told Muhammad (and of course all Muslims) that if “thou art in doubt concerning that which we reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scriptures before you.” That is, Muslims should seek explanations to revelations which they doubt from those who read the Scriptures before them; that is, they should go to those who read the Torah and the Injeel which came before the Qur’an – after all, the Qur’an is only supposed to confirm the previous Scriptures of God (the Torah and the Injeel).
In Sura 29:46 Muslims are reminded not to argue with People of the Scripture (Jews & Christians): “And argue not with the People of the Scripture unless it be in (a way) that is better, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which hath been revealed unto us and REVEALED unto you; our God and your God is One, and unto Him we surrender.” (Pickthal Translation)
The followers of Jesus will be superior to those who disbelieve (unbelievers in 3:54 who plotted and planned, and all those who refuse to follow Jesus’ teachings). Allah said followers of Jesus (not believers of Jesus) are superior than disbelievers (Muslims, Hinduism, Buddhism etc).
Who are true followers of Jesus today? Answer is Christians. “And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26) Quran in Sura 3:3 says to confirm the Gospel (Bible) and so the correct answer is Christians. Muslims do not know the best planner of Allah who allowed Jesus to be crucified. Sura 3:55 clearly says “O Jesus, I am terminating your life but I will raise you up”. This verse agreed with what Jesus said before he was crucified. Jesus was not a liar and he kept his own words for sure.
Quran [19:33] (Jesus said) “So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I DIE, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)”! [19:34] Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute.
Witness 1 by Jesus: Matthew 26:2 “Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.”
Witness 2 by Apostle Matthew: Matthew 27:38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him (Jesus), one on the right hand, and another on the left.
Witness 3 by Angel: Mat 28:5-6 And the angel answered and said unto the women, “Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
As both Sura 3:3 and Sura 3:55 concurred with the Gospel written by Apostle Matthew, the requirement of 2 witnesses is fulfilled and the Torah law cannot be broken. It is a common knowledge and a material fact that Jesus was crucified on the Cross by the unbelievers who schemed to destroy God’s salvation plan for mankind.
The people who called themselves Christians today are true followers of Jesus, who follow the teaching of Jesus not Paul. Jesus said, “I am Almighty God” (Rev 1:8), he did not even said “worship me” and people worshipped Him freely. But the people who called themselves Christians are worshiping Jesus as God, are true followers of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said “Follow me” to many times to his disciples and to believer. A young man who wanted eternal life asked Jesus: What good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and FOLLOW ME.
It’s the original message of Jesus to be his followers and not to follow others.
