Afshin Ziafat was born in Houston, Texas. When he was two years old, his family moved back to their native country of Iran. At the age 6, his family moved back to Houston because of the Islamic Revolution which occurred in that country. In the second grade, he was given a Bible by a tutor who taught him the English language. As a senior in High School, he read that bible and came to faith in Christ as his only Lord and Savior.
