Khaled was born to Somali Sunni Muslim parents and raised in a culture where being Somali meant being Muslim. Through encounters with Christians and reading the Bible for himself, he discovered the love of God in Jesus, left Islam, and now boldly shares his testimony to point other Muslims to Christ.
